Sharma was born in Bangalore, but his parents are from Garhwal, Uttarakhand. His father, Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma, an army officer and his mother Ashima Sharma is a housewife. She has an older brother named Karnesh, who was a cricketer at the state level and is now shipping. She studied in Army School and a graduate specialized in arts from Mount Caramel College, Bangalore. She then moved to Mumbai to pursue her modeling career, where she currently resides.
