Madhu Shalini born and raised in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, his father was a businessman and his mother a lawyer. Like her mother, she also learned Kuchipudi before taking part in a beauty contest, which she also won, and that paved his way to a modeling career. After working as a television anchor for a short time, she soon ventured into the film industry, turning an actor.She made her film debut in 2005 with the film Pranam Telugu although Kant Shashi Preetam Ekkuva directed by music composer, which has been widely decried by critics. His next film, EVV Satyanarayana is opposed Kithakithalu Allar Naresh, published in 2006, went to a very successful project. That same year, she starred in two Telugu films, namely the Oka V Chitram Teja in a cast, and Aganthakudu. 2007, she starred in the action comedy State Rowdy Telugu, a remake of successful Tamil KS Ravikumar Ethiri instructor with Madhu Shalini trying a young Brahmin character, played by Kanika in the original.
