Iniya of Trivandrum, Kerala, she has two sibilngs, a brother and sister. She appeared in several television series Malayalam, short films and tele-films as a child artist. Iniya won the title Miss Trivandrum in 2005, after which she did modeling and appeared in a number of award-winning Malayalam films of art, including Dalamarmarangal (2009), Saira and Umma. In 2010 she appeared in a Tamil film Padagasalai and signed four Tamil films, which have all been canceled or remain unpublished. She then played a supporting role as the sister character in the Mysskin Chéran Thriller Yuddham Sei.
